Club outing tut Lancashire
Technically speaking this was a 2008 event, but we have only just got around to putting the pictures on
the website. This was a Xmas run that appeared to include a lot of driving in search of lunch. Photographic
evidence here.

It will be just like when we were kids. Driving in loads of traffic on a sunday to the welsh coast
to east chips in the rain and then sit in traffic all the way home. Them were the days. Pictures and story here.

After some organising the PORSCHESHIRE team finally got an invite to an OPC to test drive some of latest
911s - and in the company of official PORSCHE drivers from Silverstone. The team were split - some linking the 4S and
others the PDK on the 2 wheel drive Carrera. Something of a surprise was the attention given to a Skoda Superb in the car
park. #6 is seriously considering one in place of his A8! Video on YouTube soon.

On a cold bank holiday monday in the far reaches of the outer galaxy of cheshire a small gathering of jedi
scouts set out to investigate a rumoured gathering of alien craft. The jedi fleet of #1 and #2 with a young Jedi student
arrived at the Gawsworth site to find a number of craft from the dark side (including caterham 7s and TVRs) but were pleased
to see that members of the PCGB and its rival TIPEC had establshed a camp on the upper ground to protect all civilians.
There were 2 big surprises during the trip. The first, to see a rare GT2 Clubsport Jedi craft - in yellow was a welcome
surprise. The second, a nasty noise from the front wheel of #1's jedi craft suggested foul-play from the death
star warriers. The master Jedi (Tony) came to the rescue the following day and so the force wins over the drak side once again.

Pageant of Speed, Cholmondeley Castle, Cheshire, 10 August
Cheshire's answer to the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Last year was a great opener and this year we
may even have our own club stand. Watch this space.
